Who we are

This website, alqaz.in, is run by ALQAZ IT SERVICES AND PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED (“Alqaz”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Jammu and Kashmir, India. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

• When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, company name (optional) and a message about your project. It reaches us as an email.
• When you book a call. Bookings are handled by Cal.com, which collects the details you enter there (such as your name, email and the time you choose) under its own privacy policy.
• When you browse the site. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to run and secure the site. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read, where visitors come from, and whether they send an enquiry or open the booking calendar.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we don't sell your personal information.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and talk about your project.
• To schedule and hold calls you book with us.
• To keep the site working, secure and free of abuse.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.

For visitors in the EU and UK, our legal bases are your consent (for analytics cookies), steps you ask us to take before entering a contract (replying to an enquiry or quote request), and our legitimate interest in running and improving a secure website.

Cookies

The site itself stores your theme choice (light or dark) and your cookie choice in your browser. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are asked first: until you accept, Google Analytics sets no cookies and only receives anonymous, cookieless signals. We don't use advertising cookies. Cal.com may set its own cookies when you open the booking calendar. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services that help us run the site and reply to you, and only for that purpose:

• Google: email (Gmail), which receives contact form messages, and Google Analytics.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Cal.com: call booking.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. These providers may store data outside India, including in the United States and the EU. Where that happens, we rely on their standard safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages and related emails for up to 2 years after our last conversation, then delete them, unless they become part of a project with you, in which case we keep what's needed for that project and our legal and tax records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, in the EU and UK, the GDPR, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it, or to delete it.
• Withdraw consent you've given, such as for analytics cookies.
• Object to or ask us to limit how we use it.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the inbox and accounts that hold your information is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not aimed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. For anything else, you can contact us or email alqaztech@gmail.com.
